Privacy Declaration
AgroLingua B.V. processes your personal data safely and responsibly to ensure your data cannot be accessed by unauthorised persons. We value the confidence you show in our agency and will process your personal data in a way that meets at least the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation. The way in which data is processed is explained below.
Personal data that we process
AgroLingua B.V. processes your personal data because you use our services and/or have provided the personal data yourself. By using these services, you agree that we may collect and use your personal information in accordance with this privacy statement. The personal data we process is shown below:

E-mail address
Other personal data that you actively provide, for example by sending an e-mail or derived from information on social media, such as LinkedIn, provided you have given your consent.
Why we need this personal data
AgroLingua B.V. processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- to send you our newsletter and/or advertising material
- to contact you by telephone or e-mail if this is necessary to perform our services
- to inform you about changes to our services and products
- if we are legally obliged to use this data, i.e. invoice details for the tax authorities.
Data retention period
AgroLingua B.V. will not store your personal data for longer than is necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. Our retention period (s) are: invoices that may contain your personal data: seven years after the invoice has been sent due to the legal retention period; your personal data will not be stored in our mail file (newsletters, etc.) after you have unsubscribed; in our CRM system we store personal data for up to five years after the last contact, but only with your consent.
Disclosure to third parties
AgroLingua B.V. will not sell your data to third parties and only discloses it to third parties if this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We conclude a processor agreement with companies that process your data on our instructions to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. AgroLingua B.V. remains responsible for these processing operations, but is not responsible for the privacy policy of the organisations and sources stated on our website.
Tracking website visits
AgroLingua B.V. uses functional and anonymised analytical cookies. Right to access, modify or delete data
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by our company. You can submit a request to access, correct or delete your personal data to.agrolinguainfo@agrolingua.com. To ensure that the request for access to this data has been submitted by you, we kindly ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. To protect your privacy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN) in this copy. We will respond as quickly as possible, but no later than within four weeks, to your request.
Protection of personal data
AgroLingua B.V. takes the protection of your personal data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you are under the impression that your personal data is not properly protected or there are indications of data abuse, please contact us via e-mail. You also have the right to file a complaint or objection with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority in The Hague.

We may change this Privacy Statement from time to time for various reasons by posting the updated version of the Privacy Statement on our website.
